Kodak Sport
Kodak PlaySport is small, lightweight, and rugged, yet provides most of the quality of more expensive products. But unlike much more expensive video cameras, users can take this thing almost anywhere without worrying about dropping it or getting it wet (really wet). It doesn’t require dedicated luggage, special lenses, or bulky tapes and batteries. It’s a pocket camcorder plain and simple that just so happens to shoot really good high definition video. Personally, I’m really going to enjoy taking Kodak Sport on family excursions to preserve high quality video memories in places I never before imagined possible.

Kodak Playsport Camcorder Review
Here are Kodak Playsport Review just to make sure you, this is the best Waterproof Pocket Video
solid construction, easy to use, pretty good video
There's a lot to like about this kodak playsport:
- It's easy to use, with intuitive controls and an uncomplicated menu system. I was able to quickly figure out how to use it to shoot video and take still shots and download everything to my computer without having to look at the instruction manual even once.
- Kodak Playsport Construction is solid, with a ruggedized feel that inspires confidence. The manual says the camera can survive being dropped, though I didn't try that at home. The things most likely to break on a camera like this--namely, the various little flip-open doors for access to ports and the battery--seem very well made and likely to last a long time with normal use. Overall the camera feels pleasantly solid and well-built in the hand (but not to heavy).
- The LCD screen is bright and very usable even in sunlight.
- Low-light photo and video performance is surprisingly good.
- Kodak Playsport Overall video quality is also quite good, and compares favorably to larger cameras.
- Of course the waterproof aspect is really cool. My kids could use it around the pool without worrying about getting it wet (or "accidentally" dropping it in the water, a fate another camera in our family suffered), and could take underwater action shots from the bottom of the pool.
The drawbacks:
- Kodak Playsport zoom is not much use, unless you are in very bright light conditions and have some way to steady the camera. Otherwise the still shots come out very grainy. Video is even worse: I found that even in bright sunlight, using the zoom caused the colors to shift dramatically (patches of green grass becoming almost red, for example), resulting in very poor video quality.
- Kodak Playsport video quality is very good for a small camera like this, but perhaps not quite up to the standards of an HD Flip (comparing 720p video from both). Then again, the Flip isn't waterproof and I'd be a lot more hesitant to let my kids use it because of fear of dropping.
Overall, a fun little camera to take with you for on-the-go video and stills without the extra weight or hassle of carrying more-capable cameras. Because of the solid construction and non-protruding lens, I felt comfortable giving this camera to my kids (ages 6 and 4) and letting them take it around with them to shoot photos, without having to worry about them dropping or otherwise damaging the camera.
